The Scottydog Manual

From today, the Scottydog Manual begins! This is a collection of ideas, musings and some advice on how to live with a Jack Russell Terrier, A Border Collie and a Sparrow.

HISTORY:

Jack Russell Terriers were bred to help with fox hunting. They didn't actually hunt the fox they just "helped" this is because we actually like foxes who are really very nice and always say "hello" when you meet them. We are named after Parson John Russell ,who used to enjoy fox hunting. He had his first Jack Russell from a Milkman in Oxfordshire in 1815. If he'd been called Tom Cruise, I would have been a Tom Cruise Terrier!

THINGS THAT JACK RUSSELLS DO:

Pulling: Pulling is traditional. Men try to train us to walk beside them. It is impossible! We pull!
We have to! It is our way. Pulling is fun. Pulling is good! Why? We want to be there first!
Advice: Do not try to stop us pulling! You are wasting your time.
Footnote: I'd like to say that we don't pull. (only if there is a cat nearby, a lovely woman from over the tracks and dinner is ready!) shep
Footnote 2: I don't need a collar and lead!!! Stupid things. FLY JACK AIRLINES!!! Arrrrrr!(Jack)
